Jetboil has released the TrailCook 1.2L, a regulated integrated stove system designed to do more than boil water. Its control valve moves from a low simmer to full output, while a self-centering support lets the pot be lifted and returned during cooking.
A removable pot and wider cookware support
The burner uses a turn-and-click rotary ignition with incremental flame adjustment. The integrated support accepts the supplied pot or third-party cookware up to 9 inches in diameter and 2 liters in volume.
Jetboil includes a ceramic-coated 1.2 L FluxRing pot, folding silicone-grip handle, cooking lid, bottom cover, burner bag and fuel-canister stabilizer. The bottom cover also serves as a measuring cup and bowl.
Weight and stated performance
The system weighs 1 lb 3.36 oz / 550 g before the 0.9 oz / 27 g stabilizer. Packed dimensions are 5.5 x 5.4 inches / 13.9 x 13.7 cm, output is 6,000 BTU/h / 1.8 kW and the listed group size is one to two people.
Jetboil states an average boil time of 130 seconds per 0.5 liter and 12 liters of boiled water from a 100 g JetPower canister. Those figures are manufacturer claims; Outdoor Forth has not independently tested boil time, fuel use or flame control.
Colors, price and release
Jetboil announced TrailCook on February 23, 2026 and launched 1.2 L and 2.0 L versions in March. The 1.2 L model comes in Carbon, Duck Camo and Sunset. Its regular US price was $179.99 on September 5; a temporary sale price shown that day is not used here.
