Hybrid shell construction
A polycarbonate outer shell surrounds an expanded polypropylene (EPP) interior. Montbell says this hybrid construction balances low weight and strength, and describes the EPP as providing impact absorption and recovery.
The polyester inner pad can be removed for washing. Outdoor Forth has not conducted impact or fit testing.
