Salomon has released the Genesis 2 men’s trail-running shoe. Its official update notes identify a wider midsole platform, fully integrated activeCHASSIS, revised lug geometry, and a Matryx upper the brand describes as lighter and more durable.
Sole and upper
The shoe combines an optiFOAM midsole with an All-Terrain contaGRIP outsole. The upper includes an endoFit sleeve, quickLACE closure, and textile lining. Salomon places it in its rocky, technical, and mixed-terrain categories.
