Klättermusen has released the Balderus Jacket Men's, a 575 g wool fleece for cold-condition hiking in its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The body uses recycled Italian wool and adds nylon in reinforced zones.
Wool body and nylon reinforcements
The body is made from a heavy knitted fleece in recycled Italian wool. Nylon panels cover selected areas for additional wear and wind protection.
Klättermusen describes the reinforced areas as wind resistant while maintaining breathability. Those are brand claims; Outdoor Forth has not measured warmth, airflow or durability.
