The recall covers model PYPBK5M, sold at TJX and Marshalls stores nationwide from April 2025 through March 2026 for about US$15. The specific identifiers are printed on the bottom of the original packaging, above the barcode.

Stop use and request a refund

Owners should stop using the recalled power banks immediately. Truststone offers a full refund as a virtual gift card accepted wherever Mastercard is accepted. CPSC lists the recall contact portal in the sources below and the phone number 833-820-0888, available Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m. ET.

The notice lists no reported incidents or injuries.

Disposal needs special handling

Do not put the recalled power bank in household trash, normal recycling or retail used-battery collection boxes. Before taking it to a municipal household hazardous waste center, ask whether the center accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for disposal guidance.
