Stop riding and check the serial number
Riders should stop using affected bicycles immediately and enter the bike serial number in Mondraker's official recall checker. The number appears on the down tube or beneath the bottom-bracket area. Owners with a confirmed bike should contact an authorized Mondraker dealer for a free replacement handlebar.
The CPSC says Mondraker received five reports of handlebars breaking. Two involved falls and minor abrasions. A broken bar can cause a rider to lose control and fall, creating a risk of serious injury or death.
Affected model years
The US and Canada notice lists selected 2025–2027 Mondraker models, but the recall is limited to a specific production batch. Model name alone does not confirm that a bicycle is affected; owners need to use the serial-number checker.

US notice follows the global checker
The bicycles were sold from December 2024 through June 2026 for about US$5,000–US$12,000. September 3 is the US recall date; Mondraker's global recall checker is dated July 11, 2026. Mondraker says no other ONOFF products or bicycles outside the designated batch are affected.
