Four fixed lengths from 115 g

The three-section poles come in four lengths. The 105 cm version weighs about 115 g and packs to 33 cm; the 110 cm version is about 120 g and 34 cm packed; the 115 cm version is about 125 g and 35 cm packed; and the 120 cm version is about 130 g and 36 cm packed. All weights are per pole.

The bamboo is an outer layer around the carbon core, rather than the primary load-bearing structure. An EVA grip and tungsten tip complete the main construction. NATORA says the poles are designed in Tokyo, made in China and covered by a 12-month warranty.

A grip-top mount for stationary use

A threaded point at the top of the grip accepts compatible mounts for a small camera, phone, action camera or compact light. NATORA recommends attaching no more than 250 g and instructs users to stabilize the pole instead of operating a mounted device while walking.

The planned regular price is ¥24,200 including tax per pair. The Makuake set includes two poles, a ripstop storage bag and three tip accessories.
